Hello World. Time for me to Break Out a Monday Must Have post again.
Today I’m talking about the Essence Lip liners. I started using this when I couldn’t always afford R200.00/14USD/11GBP for a MAC liner. Its overpriced tbh and I feel the Essence quality is as good. I never used to wear lip-liner but my lipstick bleeds. Wearing good lip-liners prevents bleeding & prolongs lipstick.
The essence range of lip-liners retails for R20.00/1.50USD/1GBP each which means I can afford one in every color. As Clicks is forever sold out I use the nude liner under most of my lipsticks & I’ve also been known to use the Essence Kajal Pencil in white as a liner to brighten & change the color of certain lipsticks.
Do you have any value for money items that have replaced your favorites from higher end cosmetic companies? Drop me a comment below. As always thank you for reading beauties. With all my love, F.
Hello World. Its Monday and I’m back with another must have item. Who doesn’t love big lashes or a great drugstore brand. Well this product ticks both of those boxes. I have purchased most of the mascara’s from the Essence brand but nothing impressed me as much as the “Big Lashes” range. I’m not a fan of falsies (only because I struggle applying it) but do love a good extension, with this mascara I feel I don’t need either .
Description taken from Essence Website: “The fibers of the football-like mega brush even reach the tiniest lashes and cover each individual lash without causing them to stick or feel heavy. the easy application ensures a breathtaking look in an instant! opthalmologically tested.”
I recently just ran out of eyeliner & found this together with an angled brush, to be a good substitute to create my winged liner. A two in one product, I couldn’t ask for more.
As always thank you for reading. Let me know what you think about this mascara beauties xx
Hello World. Another Monday means I’m Breaking Out another Monday Must have post Girl! Today I am sharing the Essence “All about Greys” eye-shadow palette with you. I’ve had this palette for over a year now and its the only palette I reach for when I need to do a sultry smoky eye. As always this is another great product from Essence Cosmetics for less. It retails for R89.95 (ZAR) in South Africa. This palette has two matte shades (your transition shades) & six metallic shades.
I have used this palette to create a traditional smoky eye, reverse smoky eye, I’ve added pressed glitter to jazz it up a bit more and I have used Vaseline over a simple black lid for a glossy chic look. It is versatile and I love that you can build up the colours depending on the intensity you want.
HotTip: Start with your eye make up first before going in with foundation as there is a bit of fall out which might ruin your foundation if it’s already set.
Thank you for reading beauties! Please share your looks with me, I am always looking for a new innovative way to wear darker eye shadow’s.
